Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevReview (the "Service"), operated by Kentaro Hanawa ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DevReview provides AI-powered automated code review for GitHub pull requests. The Service analyzes source code and generates review comments identifying potential bugs, security vulnerabilities, and code quality issues.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account using a valid GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for recurring subscription fees until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
• Submit code containing malware, viruses, or other harmful content
• Abuse the Service (e.g., excessive API calls, circumventing rate limits)
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all code you submit for review. We claim no rights to your source code. The Service itself (software, designs, trademarks) remains our intellectual property.

7. Data Handling

We process source code only to generate review responses. Code is not retained after review completion and is never used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Code reviews are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying and applying any suggestions. We make no guarantees that the Service will detect all bugs, security issues, or code quality problems.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before taking effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
